In the hush of night, the same scene unfolds, A labyrinthine path, both chilling and cold. I wander its twists, with a heart full of dread, Searching for answers, forever unfed.
The shadows that lengthen, the whispers that creep, A chorus of voices in slumber too deep. I yearn for the light, a beacon to see, But dawn’s gentle hand can’t set my soul free.
Each waking I wrestle, the fear lingers on, A premonition of where I belong. Is this a cruel twist, a message unseen? Or just a figment, a dream within a dream?
