Though chains of circumstance have bound my frame, My spirit soars, unfettered by the same. A quadriplegic, yes, but not confined, For in my heart, a universe I find.
Once bound by flesh, now free to roam, A soul untethered, finding peace at home. No longer chasing shadows, dreams untold, A newfound purpose, courage, hope untold.
I’ve learned compassion, patience, grace to see, The beauty hidden, in adversity. A stronger spirit, forged in fire’s might, A heart that shines, a beacon of pure light.
Though challenges remain, I’ll persevere, With gratitude and love, I’ll persevere. A quadriplegic, yes, but not alone, In every trial, strength I’ve known.
