A heavy weight, a heart that’s sore, Disappointment stings once more. Dreams unmet, a path unclear, But hope remains, I persevere.
Tears may fall, like cleansing rain, Washing clean the hurt, the pain. Though shadows linger, skies will mend, Brighter days are just around the bend.
I’ll take a breath, and rise anew, Strength will come, I’ll see it through. For even stumbles make us strong, Moving forward all life long.
